Terms of service
Terms and Conditions of Service
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) outline the terms under which Pisen Lab Co., Ltd. ("Pisen") will provide repair services for your product.
1. Service Charges
Pisen will perform the repair services as specified in the Work Authorization Job Order, and the charges will include applicable taxes.
2. Data Backup and Responsibility
Pisen acknowledges the value of your data. However, data loss during the repair process is a possibility, and in certain cases, data may be erased, reformatted, or rendered unrecoverable.
- It is the sole responsibility of the customer to back up all data, software, and/or programs on their product before submitting it for service.
- Pisen is not liable for any loss, recovery, or compromise of data, software, or programs, nor for the loss of use of the product or other equipment arising from the repair process.
- Customers must ensure that their product does not contain illegal files or data.
3. Video Monitoring of Repairs
To ensure service quality, Pisen will video-record the repair process, including the inspection, repair, and quality assurance stages.
- Customers will have access to these recordings through a dedicated Pisen link.
- The recorded videos will not include any sensitive or private information on the customerβs device.
- All video files will be stored securely in the cloud for a period of 90 days. By agreeing to these T&Cs, customers consent to Pisen recording and storing these video materials.
4. Free Diagnostics
Pisen offers free diagnostic services. Customers will not be charged for diagnostics even if they choose not to proceed with the repair.
5. Additional Labor or Parts
If additional labor or parts are required beyond those specified in the Work Authorization Job Order, Pisen will seek customer approval before proceeding at no extra cost.
6. Responsibility for Damages During Service
Pisen will take full responsibility for any damages caused to the product during the repair process due to technician error.
- In case of damage, Pisen will seek customer approval to proceed with the repair at no additional cost.
7. Software Updates
As part of the service, Pisen may install system software updates on your product.
- These updates may prevent reverting to an earlier version of the system software.
- Third-party applications on the product may become incompatible or cease functioning after the update.
8. Use of Replacement Parts
Pisen may use new or equivalent-to-new parts with equivalent reliability and performance during the repair.
- Replaced parts or products will be returned to the customer upon completion of the service.
9. Warranty
Pisen provides a one-year (1-year) limited warranty for services performed, starting from the date of service.
- If a defect arises due to the service, Pisen will either:
- Re-perform the service,
- Repair or replace the defective part, or
- Refund the service fee.
- Warranty claims require the product to be returned to the original service location at the customerβs expense.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pisen and its affiliates will not be liable for:
- Special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, data, business, goodwill, or opportunity.
- Any costs related to recovering, restoring, or programming data lost during the service process.
Pisenβs liability for any damage or loss will be limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the affected product.
11. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Thailand, excluding its conflict of law principles.
12. Data Collection and Usage
Customers acknowledge and agree that Pisen must collect, process, and store personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy to fulfill the services specified in these T&Cs.
